I've submitted all my paperwork including SAT scores, and I think my counselor has submitted the school's part of the application. I'm still kinda nervous about the whole thing even though I know most people get finalist status. Is there ANYTHING that could keep me from becoming finalist? My SAT was 2070. My unweighted GPA is 3.52, but I think I got a C semester grade sophomore year in chem. I wrote a nice, genuine essay and my EC's were all filled, so the only thing I'm worried about is the C and that somehow they might've moved the SAT cutoff up this year..

The SAT cutoff has not likely risen to over 2070, since last year it was 1960.

You’re fine.

FYI to others…rejection letters are sent out around Jan 7th, so if you don’t get a rejection letter by mid January, you know you’re in.

Tommy, you’re fine. Unless you get some disciplinary action, nothing to worry about.

I assume you are referring only to disciplinary action in high school, right?

No, it includes how many times you were put in “time out” in pre-school.

Can NMSC see civil misdemeanors?

I doubt that they can, and I doubt that they’re looking for that kind of stuff.
