My family and I want to do something special on March 10, but we're not really sure what to do. Does anyone have any ideas out there?

wait impatiently for the letters?
sleep?
go to school?
… you can see i’m very creative

go out for dinner?
are you planning on taking the day off from school or something?

go to your local walmart and roll around in the parking lot!

no, but seriously
i would probably go out for dinner on march 9th, just to celebrate how awesome you are for finishing applications and acknowledging that it’s not the end of the world if you’re not accepted.
besides that, on march 10th… wait. anxiously. with a tissue box nearby

I’d do something that gets your mind off the decisions. Stay home from school, and go see a movie or something. I also really like the idea of going out for dinner on Mach 9th. I might do that.

I really wanted to go out for dinner on march 9th, but I have to do something else sadly. I was thinking about going out to dinner on the 10th, but I don’t want to go to a restaurant and be a sobbing mess if I don’t get in anywhere (hopefully that won’t happen), do you think we should still try that though?

i went to school and suffered through the first half of the day

I’m really scared I won’t be able to make it through the school day, I know I’m going to drive myself crazy before I get home.

i am going to be SHAKING the entire day.

I
ll be on spring break in another country. I
m going to have someone in my family go on line to find out the news and text me.

Chances are some of the online/email decisions will be available before breakfast.

I know Exeter’s decisions come at 6:00 am. Aside from that, I think they come in the afternoon.

6 AM? eastern?

oh boy i guess i’ll be up at 3 am on march 10th then.

I’ll probably be up at 3am anyway, just because I wouldn’t be able to sleep. It’s like Christmas all over again.

hahaha, you’re right, i probably won’t be able to sleep. i’ll just build a tent outside my mailbox and attack the mailman when he arrives

i wonder if i’ll go to school that day… i’m not sure if i’d be able to concentrate :/

Snail mail and packages probably come a day or two after March… this is just a hunch, but that’s how my SSAT scores came.

All of my rejection/waitlists last year that came via snail mail arrived ON the 10th. I do live within a 3 hour radius of my schools though.

Only rejections and waitlists
I hope you can get in this year, good luck!
I know if I were you I would have crawled into the fetal position for the rest of the day in my corner.

so is everyone going to school on the 10th??

Gather everyone I know that applied and open all of our letters one by one around a table haha.
