Hey guys
So I am currently a sophomore and unsure of what to do over the summer.
I have a sat/act prep class planned out (every weekend basically) but other than that I am conflicted.
I was thinking about either entering a volunteering project, doing research, or doing a summer camp at a college.
Any ideas (e.g. any good summer programs or other ideas)? Thanks!
Those are all great ideas. It all honestly just depends on what your schedule is like and which option(s) will work best for you. Volunteering is always a great idea. Research is an excellent idea. Would the summer camps offer you any HS or college credit?
Hi! thank you for your reply. I was also wondering just how to “apply” for research. Do you just contact professors individually or is it more through a application process or through the school? Thanks! (oh just as a side note to your question, I haven’t looked too in depth into any camps but most of them seem to be located at colleges and rarely provide credit).
