What to do - rejected from all colleges I applied to?

Yes, those are my stats. I thought my essays were great and explained my situation, so I assumed I would gain acceptance to at least on UC. Right now I’m actually homeless, so I can go to Santa Monica, my mum needs a place to live as well.

I wonder how competitive transferring will be in two years.

^
hope things get better for you soon…

as far as transferring, i thought you can join a program at community colleges where you can get guaranteed admissions at a particular UC?

There is such a program, but it doesn’t guarantee admissions to UCLA or Cal.

Some CC’s, including SMCC, do have something called the Transfer Alliance Program which gives you preference in admission to UCLA. See [Transfer Alliance Program - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Prospect/Adm_tr/ADM_CCO/tap.htm)

Do what I did. Go to Community College, jack up your stats (classes are easy), and then get into a better college after two years. Trust me, it sucks watching all your friends go off to colleges, but the wait is well worth it, especially when you get into the college of your dreams after just two years of additional work.

plus, its cheaper
