What to do! Transferring brings so many problems...

I am wanting to apply to Penn as a transfer student. I know that the odds of me getting in are very very slim, but there is still that chance that I may get in.

What do you guys do about your current school? I really would like to apply for some higher up positions in certain clubs for next year, but what would happen if I gain admissions to my trasfer school? Do I just leave my club hanging at my previous school?

I really would like to take on some positions but I don't like that fact that I may have to screw my clubs at my current school over if I do get admitted to my transfer school. What are you guys doing about this?

I am in a similar situation. For my club, I think everyone figures that I will be the president next year as I have been the most involved thus far. If I suddenly transfer (because I haven’t told anyone I’m applying) some people will definitely feel hurt. So what I have been doing this semester is slowly bringing other people into the loop and kind of setting up other potential leaders.

I think giving up my school-specific extracurriculars is one of the worst things about transferring. Oh well, if I transfer then I will have a whole new campus to get involved in!
