What to do with a 2230?

So I’m a junior and I only took the SAT 1 once and got 2230 (770M/740W/720R). I’m satisfied with this score but I’d really like to do better especially since I see myself applying to competitive colleges (mostly UPenn and Cornell). Since that was the last OLD exam should I burden myself and take the new SAT or ACT or none? If it helps I’m an Asian female LOL

Congratulations on a good score. Personally, I would stick with the 2230, especially since you have 700+ in all categories. Focus on subject tests (if you haven’t taken them) and other parts of the application.

If you wanted to retake, I would take a practice ACT test and a practice new SAT test. But, I wouldn’t waste too much time on this. If your ACT and new SAT scores are not significantly higher, I wouldn’t put in the effort of a higher test score.

Move on .You have a great score and a higher one is unlikely to be viewed as much if at all different.

Your score is great. Have you taken Subject tests? If not then concentrate on these.

Thanks for the input! I’ll be taking Chem, Math, and hopefully Bio this May/June. I think I’ll just stick with this score and maybe try ACT out. Haha, when I read threads like these I always question how silly someone would be to retake 2200+ but now that I’m in this situation, the paranoia really gets to you
