hey im in a phase now (junior in high school) where im really trying to discover what Id want to do with my future. Engineering is definitely a great possibility. Money is important to me, but im not sure how important. If I got a BS in Chem Engineering and then decided I wanted to make more than 50k to start, Ive heard consulting is an option. Can someone explain what kind of consulting jobs an engineer can get? ALso, are there any other higher paying jobs you can get with an eng major (NOT Ibanking!). WHo knows, maybe Ill end up as an engineer but just looking into possibilities. Also, if you want to go into consulting or another type job, do you then have to go get an MBA or what? Thanks!
