This isn't a thread intended to promote business, just ask a question about it.

So after finishing with all those college books and stuff, what do you do with them? I am very anti-clutter and want to rid of them. I have a PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP Gov, AP Euro, APUSH, AP Lit, AP Lang, Fiske Guide to colleges, Ultimate Insider College books.

What do you do with them? Do places take donations? Would underclassmen actually buy them? Or mostly do you just give them out?

Burn them to symbolize your freedom from the chain of standardized tests.

Share them with the underclassmen. You may even get them to buy them, but probably only if they are relatively free of permanent marks (highlighters, pens, etc.)

If you have siblings, cousins, etc, you could give the books to them as well…

Good to use when toilet paper runs out.

Sell them to your local bookstores/junior friends.

Or burn them.

I sell them. I only burn books I really hated, or the Blue SAT Book because I wrote all over it and thus won’t sell.

I do not write on my PR/Barron’s books at all so I can sell them as Brand New.

I get most of my prep books from my senior friends (for free). If you’re feeling altruistic, donate them to underclassmen; otherwise, sell them.

My mom cooks too much food and I hate eating leftovers.
