What to do with all these college telephone calls?

While it is very nice to receive these letters, telephone calls, and emails from the ivy plus schools and programs like Jack kent cooke, questbridge, Gates, posse scholarship. But we have a big issue. We would have not qualify for any of these as our income is just above the threshold as income has gone up.

I mean daughter has necessary GPA, SAT II, SAT 1, and extracurricular activities, but just above the income threshold. Daughter was a finalist for JKC scholar in 7th grade but lost in final round as income was bit higher than the upper threshold. This started as two older daughters started investing money on family behalf and have done well in the parents acoount.

Third daughter is still a full need based scholar at an elite prep school. I have no idea what to do when university students call at home looking for my daughter. Any suggestions?

This isn’t meant to be saracastic at all. We just don’t pick up the phone if we know it’s a waste of time.

We have tried that but did not succeed and my husband feel terrible. He feels this is impolite. We feel guilty plus as competion for admission is brutal, we have no idea how this will play out and do not want to annoy college admission offices.

These students are calling many times as telephone number that is listed is our home number.

one of the HYPMS college just sent daughter a mail and ask her if our family income is less than 80,000. Contact them and update her records about family income.
