As a family member of a proud Drexel grad and a proud Texas A&M grad we have an unreasonable amount of tshirts from both and weirdly a Christmas ornament. Seems like passing along the extra clothes to cousins and sisters in law is a good way to get rid of the excess. It goes well with the Rowan shirts and lanyards my D25 has gotten from various activities.
UCSD has a resale shop right on campus, run by volunteers. Proceeds fund scholarships and other educational endeavors. Perhaps other campuses have similar shops or exchanges. Giving the swag back to these shops can perhaps be an option.
More schools should have that! That’s a great idea!
D still has a UC Santa Cruz sweatshirt…she didn’t end up attending, but it’s a very comfortable sweatshirt.
