<p>The best thing you can do is try to arrange some kind of payment plan with the college…get that bill paid (clearly, they do not owe you money…you owe them money)…and then move on. This school is not affordable for you. Even IF you got that $2000 transfer scholarship, it is a drop in the bucket for your total costs of attending this college.</p>
<p>You are not going to get retroactive money. It doesn’t work that way. You need to go to financial aid right now and see if there is still time to apply for federal funds like Stafford loans that can pay for some of your bill. Then if you do not get actual awards for the costs for next year, that is, once your prior years’ charges are cleared up, you need to go somewhere else that you can afford.</p>
