What to do?????

I am currently an incomming freshman Trinity student, but I am interested in BME for premed which is in Pratt. What courses should I take first semester? I would greatly appreciate any help from students with experience.

so they don't let you transfer until you're a sophomore but you should still take the classes the other engineers take - EGR 53, Math, Chemistry, Physics, and maybe some beginning BME classes like BME 83 (I feel ME 83 is better, though) and BME 110 in the spring

fall:
egr53
chem21/23 (if no credit)
math (wherever you are)
writing/seminar

spring:
physics 61
math
bme 83 (maybe)
writing/seminar

What courses should I take? My AP scores from junior year: AP Chem 5, AP Calc AB 5, AP Physics 5

I might get a 5 in AP Bio

fall:
egr53
humanities/SS elective
math 32 or 41
writing/seminar

spring:
physics 61
math 103
bme 83
writing/seminar

I am premed so I should probably take Chem first semester, right? Should it be 151L. Also should I take Math 32 L? Would this be took much work? What about EGR 10?

oh.. then yes you should take chem 23 or 151 (consult other threads) instead of a humanties class. as to math32 vs math32L I would consult the math departments website for more information. As an engineer 32L would probably be better (though it has more class time). I would not recommend EGR10 if you are set on bme (which it sounds like you are).

so here are your options:
fall:
egr53
chem 23L
math 32 or 32L
writing/seminar

spring:
physics 61
math 103
bme 83
writing/seminar

OR

fall:
egr53L
chem 151L
math 32 or 32L
writing/seminar

spring:
physics 61L
math 103
chem 152L
writing/seminar

either way you are going to have an incredibly challenging freshman year. If you are willing to put in lots of time take chem151 instead of 23. It really depends on what you think you can accomplish.
