What to do.....

<p>If have a major problem. My parents got divorced last July, detail, detail, detail. Ok I am living with my mom now and she, having previously been a stay at home mom wants to get a job now, unstandable right. But here is were the problem arises.</p>

<p>I am going to be a senior next year and am really looking to graduating with all my friends, not to mention I am looking forward to attended a prestigous part-time science and math school next year. My mom on the other hand doesn't want to live here anymore due to the town's small population and constant confrontations with my dad. I am worried about what I should do if my mom gets a job and moves with my two younger brothers. I could stay here and live with my dad but he is a workaholic(?) and sometimes spends a week or two out working on a job. </p>

<p>Another problem is that my mom is really wanting to get out of the state all together. I have been planning on attending the Univeristy of Oklahoma but if we move I will have to scamble to adjust to a different state and the colleges that are "in my league" that I could attend.</p>

<p>What should I do? Any opinions or comments would be much apprenciated.</p>

<p>Hmmmm....I stayed with a friends family for most of my senior year when my parents moved to Oregon....it worked out fine.....but if you have to move, it;ll be fine too....many kids have had to make even bigger adjustments....do you have any other family in your current town, for when your dad goes to work, and do you trust yourself to handle everything without mom? that loss could be much bigger than you may think....</p>

<p>as an aside, I think it gonna be rough for your brothers to be away from their dad....but that;s the mom in me....</p>
