what to drink before the SAT?

Mint/Gums are actually great if the proctors don't mind....</p>

<p>i bet everyone's gonna say something different (one person who lived til 110 said he ate lots of chocolate, while the other said he didn't eat lots of sweets.. good analogy?). it doesn't matter. it's really mystery/luck type thing, IMO. </p>

<p>I would say don't drink anything you're not used to or anything that you don't drink regularly. I don't think you would a stomach ache during the test.</p>

<p>if you are well hydrated before the test you can do 5% better. I drank a ton of water the few days before the test. It really wakes you up :)</p>

<p>if you drink a lto of water, aren't you risking needing to take a **** in the middle of the test? that might mess you up big.</p>

<p>drink water or some herbel tea. Whatever you do, don't drink coffee! On my calc final I drank tons of coffee cause I was dead tired from studying. Right when i got the test, I panicked. Drinking coffee, for me at least, makes me panic. So right when I couldn't figure out the question the first time, I panicked and panicked and I got a C when I could have gotten a B+. So just drink a lot of water, something light.</p>

<p>For one, don't drink a lot the morning of the test. I had to **** for the entire duration of the SAT II Chemistry test. It didn't hurt my score, but it was rather uncomfortable; I don't recommend it.</p>

<p>I would say drink a whole lot of water the night before so that you're well-hydrated but won't have a full bladder during the test, and then drink very little that morning, whatever you drink.</p>

<p>Or, as others have suggested, just get totally blitzed on vodka before the test. It will help you relax. It would be advisable to once again get blitzed before opening your scores envelope.</p>

<p>drink oj- it's good for you. just get hydrated. you don't want to become partially dehydrated in the middle of the test.</p>

<p>yay for orange juice! cranberry raspberry is tres good too....or fruit smoothies...I make my own sometimes with OJ and a ton of fruit! Mmmm</p>

<p>I drank two red bulls right before I took it, and I was visibly shaking. Not to mention that I had to go to the bathroom five minutes in, as caffeine is a diuretic.</p>

<p>So don't drink red bull.</p>
