Hello CC Users, The main problem I'm facing during the sat is that i lose focus and get dizzy during the final section. I normally go to the test without any breakfast. Do you think this is such a good idea and how can i remain 100% during the entire test. Thanks

Sorry made a mistake Final Sections(7,8,9,10)

I would eat some candy (hersheys, reeses, heath, whatever you like) between each section

Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, something that will keep you focused.

Illegal^^

If you do decide to break the law, don’t try a drug for the first time on test day as you don’t know how you may react with certainty. I recommend against using those drugs unless you actually have severe focus problems, which should be diagnosed. Just try relaxing, getting 8 hours of good rest, giving yourself enough time to wake up, eating (personally I eat an egg sandwich, juice, and a banana before tests), and hydrating. You should bring really quick to eat snacks. Be sure your eyesight is good too (headaches/trouble focusing) might be a result of not having correct lens, if any.

During the breaks, go to the bathroom and wash your face with cold water.

It was a joke, but its also not illegal depending on where you live.

Where? And hahahahaa good joke.

This may seem crazy but eat walnuts for at least a week leading up to the test. Also, the morning of definitely eat (I suggest eggs). During the test, I would suggest bringing some candy (I usually bring chocolate) or a bar or something to give you some energy to last you to the next break. Drink water too!

I no very little about this sort of thing, but I think it would probably be easier to get it from a friend who is taking it or something rather then going out of state. Though I by all means DO NOT recommend trying to obtain drugs of this sort simply because I don’t know you or anyone reading this or how it may effect them.

Chug a bottle of water about 1.5hr before the test, then go to the bathroom an hour after you finish since you don’t want to have the urge to pee during the test.

Besides that, DEFINITELY eat something that morning like fruit.

I try not to eat too much before the test, but I did drink a lot of water. I brought orange juice, water, and a granola bar. I wasn’t even hungry until after the test.

I would definitely not eat candy/chocolate. It often makes me crash and jumpy. What I do recommend is good food (preferably not processed) for breakfast and fruits between breaks. Maybe have something sweet near the end of the test (last break).

Coffeeeeeeeeeh. But make sure you go to the bathroom after that

Just pop some moll*** b4 the test. You should be fine :).

LOL I am just kidding man dont do dumb stuff like that. If you get 8 hours of sleep and eat a p b and J in the morning and eat a banana during thr breaks. I dont see ANY reasons why u shud have a headache or problem concentrating.

I normally eat oatmeal with fruits before the test. And drink water
I don’t personally like eating in the breaks. I make sure I go to the washroom though.
But, if you get hungry, I’d suggest eating some wholemeal buscuits or oat buscuits or something of that sort. (:

Candy does work, but make sure you have enough for each break (it’ll only get you through one testing session). Back it up with something that’ll last longer too like a banana or a bar.

Carbs such as candy, fruit, etc will make your blood sugar crash which is why you can’t survive until the end. You need to eat protein. Bacon and or eggs for breakfast, then take nuts such as almonds, walnuts, peanuts, pistachios to the test and snack on them during the breaks. Add either caffeine (if you normally drink caffeinated drinks) and or water and you are set.

The dizziness is due to low blood sugar so yes bring a carb like a candy bar or apple or juice or soda just in case and eat it if you start feeling dizzy.

I don’t see anything wrong with eating a huge breakfast. I usually eat 3 pbj half sammiches (= 3 slices of bread and like a buttload of peanut butter), some grapfruit slices, orange juice, 2 eggs, and a banana on a regular school day. I step it up by a lot on test days. It really gives you steady, constant energy throughout the morning, although I get hungry near the end of the test.
