So I’m a freshman engineering major and need a comuputer science course. The problem is i have no experience coding. I’ve been looking at some c++ but idk what really to expect like how will the test be written, will the instructor be expecting experience and other stuff like that.
Introductory computing for engineering courses typically do not assume any CS experience, although some students may have CS experience.
If you need the type of CS course for CS majors, then some schools may offer different entry level courses for those with or without previous CS experience.
Check the prerequisites for the course in the catalog and syllabus.
