Thinking of transferring? Remember to weigh the pros and cons. https://www.collegeconfidential.com/articles/what-to-expect-when-completing-a-transfer-application/
@CCEdit_Torrey if you have a link for an articles relating to community college transfers that would be amazing!
@polyscidreamer We have one in the works! Will ping you when it’s up. Cheers!
hello! I’m considering transferring and was working on the northwestern transfer stuff through the common app and got very confused. Where do we upload our high school transcript? Do we send it to the common app or to each individual college? Same with college transcript. Do we have to fill out the college report and give it to our counselor? Is an academic evaluation the same as recommendations? I’m really confused and wasn’t exactly sure where to post this.
in addition, I have my associate’s degree through a local college by dual enrollment by my high school. Do I need to print something for that as well or could I just scan my diploma?
Hi @AzKesh ! Your transcript should typically be sent directly from your school(s) to each individual college. The transcript is likely to indicate that you have your associate’s degree, so there is typically no need to scan your diploma – they should get that information from the transcript. Depending on where you’re applying, the college report and academic evaluation could refer to different things. Feel free to email us at editorial@collegeconfidential.com with more details and we can investigate. Thanks!
