Hi I'm applying for an internship in a large Civil Engineering company doing some actual field work and they require me to send in a resume. I have limited experience to work with, I think the most "actual jobs" I could put in are that I worked as an Assistant Volunteer Coordinator and translator at a Web.com tour tournament (golf professional tournament) and I worked as a volunteer at my school's summer camp. It doesn't have much to do with what I would be doing at the internship so I dont know if I should include it. What other stuff should I include and what are some things I should avoid including?

You’re right about including past work experience, even if it doesn’t pertain to the job you’re applying for. You should include any clubs you’re committed to, especially those that pertain to the job/field (list those first under your activities). If you have several academic activities as well as several community service oriented activities, group those separately- it’s easier to read and makes you look busier. Also, put in any awards you’ve received (national latin exam, science competitions, etc). If your resume is still looking rather sparse, put in your sports and/or any extraneous stuff that didn’t fit in anywhere else.
