Should I mention my transfer essay that their school was my first choice in high school? I’ve always wanted to go to UPenn but was rejected as a senior in high school and now attend an excellent public university. (I know UPenn is always a long shot but I believe I have legitimate reasons for wanting to transfer and would like to apply as a transfer student)

I wouldn’t. If UPenn was really your first choice, you would have done early action… and you wouldn’t have been writing your UPenn essay the day before it was due.
@jameshomies Where does it say as a senior, he applied early action and had written his essay the day before? Transfer deadlines aren’t tomorrow as far as I’m aware. There is no early action for transfer applicants.
@lordrohan731 @jameshomies Yeah, I’m a freshman at another school right now. I couldn’t apply ED to Penn but that was for financial/sports reasons. Thanks for your input though!
