<p>I am self studying pre-calc because i want to skip it and take calculus bc i know that pre calc has a lot of useless info that has nothing to do with calculus what topics should i concentrate on i already started the trig part and i just finshed limits</p>
<p>You should be familiar with elementary algebra and trig. If you want to go straight into BC topics you will need to be familiar with limits, differentiation and integration of one-variable functions (however BC includes AB material so I suppose you’ll be learning these topics anyway).</p>
<p>Some other pre-calculus topics (such as vectors, dot/cross products, matrices, linear algebra topics) won’t appear on calculus BC but will show up if you study more advanced fields of math.</p>
