What to look for in apartments

<p>What are some things to consider when looking for apartments?
I know that you should ask for whether electricity/internet/etc
is included in the rent, but what else? What are your experiences?
What is a good way to make sure that you are not getting ripped
off and where are some sites/etc where I can find apartments
listed?</p>

<p>Also, is it really hard to find an apartment near the campus?
For example, Unit 3 area?
Is it competitive??</p>

<p>make sure everything works and isnt broken. Or else you become responsible. So especially on the day you move in, I would make sure nothing in the apartment is broken, that you have your toilets flushing at good pressure, doors work, windows have no huge cracks, ect.</p>

<p>Also, once you move in, get a lidded trash can… maggots.
The described problems above are from my own personal experience. lol</p>
