<p>Probably not. Chemistry will possibly overlap a little bit better with your premed requirements. If one department at your school is stronger, or you think you can do better at it, that might be worthwhile as well.</p>
<p>In general, your major itself doesn't matter all that much. It's much more important that you major in something you're really passionate about.
