<p>I admit it. I'm a girly girl. Can I bring my various and sundry hair care products, makeup things, etc. on my overnight visit? Is that frowned upon? All it says is sleeping bag and a pillow, but I'm assuming I should bring shampoo, conditioner, and a washcloth....and clothes, right?</p>
<p>bring whatever your 'necessaries' are.....while your host should be able to provide you with a towel/washcloth and also soap if you don't have those things with you, definitely bring your personal shampoo and conditioner, as well as hair care products and makeup (if you consider those things necessary....i consider them optional :), and of course warm clothing.....people are wearing winter coats and scarves here.</p>
<p>hopefully your host will have a futon for you to sleep on so you won't have to use the sleeping bag, although i guess there's no way of knowing for sure. bear in mind that it gets into the 40s at night here, so it might be a good idea to bring an extra blanket with that sleeping bag or pack really warm pajamas.</p>
