Disneyland prices?

You know how at a grocery store, the freshest, healthiest stuff is even more overpriced than the food with a shelf life longer than the average American life expectancy? Would you say the same is true with dining hall foods? Like, would a hostess cupcake cost less than a fruit bowl?

@boboman911

Lolz; UCSD’s not that greedy… although they still are but not to that ridiculous extent disney has gone to…

Dang, I’m just trying to find some food that’s not too unhealthy or something. I’ve been checking on things like caloric intake for a year or so now (+ endurance training and lifting) and I know they don’t have nutritional charts but I’d just hope not everything is too close to I guess you’d say “junk” food. lol

kind of random but for Douglas Hall Apartment Triple room, is there room to bring like those plastic cabinets? Those basic ones, if you guys know what I’m talking about.

thanks in advance

@californiaxo

Sadly, pretty much.

@spacedog

If you’ve been doing endurance training and lifting, you’ll know what’s good for you and what isn’t.

I’m in Warren, so I’m fairly certain I know what they serve :

To be honest, I, along with most of my friends, can’t stand our dining hall.

^I know you know what they serve. I just said that I don’t agree with you. Everybody has their own preferences.

Indeed you did, but you also said you should know what not to get, which implies otherwise.

Of course, everyone does have their own preferences. That is a given.

If only we could use the money on fastfood… -_-

@Physalis

Oops. My bad, I didn’t mean that towards you. I meant, that I didn’t agree with you and that the incoming freshmen need to know what not to get.

Is there any vegetarian food in CV? I forgot to mention that xD

^There’s always vegetarian options, but they aren’t overly fantastic. Same with the other dining halls.

Gah! Terrible food makes me sad, that can only means I’ll try to fly home more often just to eat my mom’s super awesome cooking… sigh better get a job.

Yet another question, and this one is sorta an emergency. I was packing and packing my clothes and ended up with around two suitcases of them, seems fine. But then a friend told me she’s only packing a week and a half’s worth of clothes while I in comparison packed a month’s worth for summer, autumn, and a wee bit of winter respectively. Did I over-packed? What’s the average amount of clothes I will need if I’m only planning on going home on Christmas?

^keep in mind that you’ll be doing laundry weekly (or weekly ish)
la jolla pretty much doesn’t have seasons. the weather is mostly the same all year long.
you might want to cut back to like two or three weeks of each season and a few but not too much winter clothes. if you keep your original 2 suitcases, you will be fine.
your friend might want to pack more clothes, because at the rate she’s going, she’s going to be wearing the same clothes about every week.

La Jolla’s weather is generally similar to where I’m from, not much variety… but I took away from extra tank tops and loungewear that I can survive without… And now I’m facing the question of how many racks to bring. The desk they have in Revelle aren’t really that big so I probably shouldn’t bring two paper racks huh?
