<p>My dad retired in June and will likely have another job by the time I finish submitting my college apps, but I still put unemployed, just because it’s the most accurate of anything else. That would be my same advice to you! </p>
<p>As for your parents’ college, what trantuanh1234 said is accurate.</p>
