All applications have a space for extra information, but what do they expect? Special circumstances for grades, scores, etc. I was wondering whether they wanted to know more about EC's, AP scores you couldn't fit in the 6 spaces, etc. Does anyone actually use this?

If you have a resume or something you can inform the adcoms of the attached sheet here.

i think he's talking about the specific blank left in the application for extra info, right? not a separate sheet of resume?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the specific blank on the application.

Extra information, as I understand it, is not for extra ECs and AP scores. It's for things like (if this isn't your essay) I am a the child of Sudanese refugees who only speak Arabic, I taught myself English by watching soap operas, I survived a bear attack in Alaska and my grades suffered while I was recovering, and I'd be the first one in my family to attend college, on top of that. Explanations for the grade dip in sophomore year, etc. Most people don't use it.

How about, I live alone?

What if I have some somewhat "radical" ideas and tastes that most people would find kind of offensive? Would that count for diversity?
