What to Send: Script vs. Film?

I'm applying to Emerson EA as a film production major and am at a loss as to what to submit.

Everything I've filmed so far I've basically hated. I have a script I'm unable to film (largely due to not having actors the same age as the characters), but I feel like it's pretty good.

Will a college, or Emerson specifically, look down upon an applicant that submits a script rather than a film? I know both are allowed, but it seems that most people submit a film instead.

Please help!

Submit whichever you think is stronger. If they offer options I think they really mean for you to take them up on the option. What they are looking for is your ability to tell a story. Some have had the opportunity to make great films, others to write great stories. Not everyone who goes to film school will have made films prior to attending. Someone can be taught the skills to make a film, but the ability to enthrall someone with a story is a harder thing to teach. Send whichever shows that YOU can tell a story well.
