what to take -- help please!

i tested out of the freshman english requirement. am i allowed to take a 200-level english and put it towards my continuing writine requirements? anybody know what class i should take if that is the case?

also, is the chart on opus that tells you how many seats are remaining in certain classes accurate? it says almost all the 200-level math classes are closed, which could be a problem because im a math major and tested out of the 100's with stats and calc bc. (i know i could just get a ger out of the way, but i dont want to enter 2nd semester not having taken math since last may then jumping right back into it)

if anybody has any insight or advice, please share! thanks!

You can take a 200 level English if you want, but I am not too familiar with what classes to take though.

There will probably be more spots opening for freshmen during enrollment and upperclassmen might drop the classes. If you aren’t able to get a math class you want, just e-mail the professor saying that you are a math major and would like to take his or her class. They will most likely let you overload into it.
