I have one class left open and I'm trying to decide between AP stat/analysis or honors physics but I don't know which is better. I was thinking the AP is better because it'll give a grade boost. Please give your opinion

What to take?
Advil is good for headaches.
You also take Ibuprofen is necessary.

That’s what you take.

OHMighty you are not funny
sorry

at OP, what sciences have you taken before, and are you taking any other science classes this year?

Okay, Okay, I’ll give you a straight answer.

AP Stat was my first AP and is not like your average, typical math class as the calculator does most - if not all - of the work for you. Thus, the challenge of the class is interpreting and honing your writing skills. There is such an aggressive and fervent focus on writing in that class. Interpret that as you will, but keep in mind the fact that if you want to be a doctor or engineer, then Statistics will not be that helpful as, per say, Physics. Personally, I recommend finishing out the science curriculum and then expanding from there so I would say Honors Physics. The grade boost is great and all, but first get those core classes that colleges look at. The only way that I see AP Statistics being the winner is if:

A) You want to be a Business major or something along the lines.
B) You believe that you could do SIGNIFICANTLY better in the class
C) You have another science class or plan to take Physics later.

Quick questions so I can give a better answer:

What do you want to major in?
What grade are you in?

Sorry about the grouchy answer, but just a bit tired of all these “Schedule Help Threads”. Honestly, CC should make a forum for them. Anyway, Good luck.

I wish I could take AP classes :(. Lucky you lol. My school does not supply AP courses :(.

I have taken biology and chemistry and I am planning to take EMT as my science this year

I am going into 11th and I want to be a physician some day… Lol

Take physics. You will need to have some preparation in algebra-based physics since you will need to take calc-based physics in college for pre-med requirements.
