What to tell Colleges

Okay, so after using a forum on CC, I've decided to take Pre-Calc for senior year-- the problem is that I am already registered for a Calculus class during the summer. Should I stick with pre-calc, or drop it and tell colleges that I've registered to take Calculus over the summer? If I choose the latter, how do I tell them ?

Presumably, you would be taking pre-calc this year, followed by calc next summer. Am I correct? And presumably, you are enrolled in pre-calc because you need to learn that math so that you are ready for calc. Am I correct about that? In which case you absolutely need to stick with pre-calc now. Let next summer worry about itself. By then you may not want to take math at all.

Now if the situation is that you have completed calc this summer, then there is no reason whatsoever to take pre-calc! You are past that level of math. You should be taking calc 2 during the school year.
