Hi! I haven't posted in a while, so its about that time that I started getting ready for my interviews. Thought I start this thread to seek more advice, most importantly, what questions do they ask during it. And what did you wear, or planning to wear?

wear whatever coordinates with the schools dress code and base it on the weather for the day. do not wear flip flops or sneakers. look presentable and nice

I wore a knee-length pencil skirt, black v-neck (but not too low cut) sweater and nude flats. It was comfy, simple, and professional.

I wore basically the same as ballerina22. (However, it was snowing so I wore boots instead of flats). Just remember that it’s better to be overdressed than underdressed. And make sure that if you wear a skirt, pull on some tights. :)

Thank you all, but what should I wear if I am a guy?

nice slacks and a button down shirt with a tie and maybe jacket. all depends on the school’s dress code

Remember that the objective at the interview is to show that YOU WILL FIT IN at the school.

@HADES98: Did you not read that thread I included above?

If you were my son, I would advise clean-pressed khakis, blue blazer, dress shirt, and tie; regardless of the dress code of the school. Better to err on the side of formality in these situations…always.

@SevenDad Thanks for the advice, I think I am wearing khakis, dress shoes, and a clean button up. No tie.

@HADES98, if school’s dress code requires a tie for boys, then wear a tie to the interview. Do NOT go dressed more casually than the dress code.

You are there to impress the AOs, not show how laid-back your personal style is.
