what to wear on college visit?

I'm a junior and i'm going to be making my first round of collee visits next week. I will be visiting Georgetown University and American University (for a class, an information session, and a tour) and the University of Maryland (to spend the entire day on campus with an established student).

I have no clue what to wear. the wether is supposed to be in the low 70s. Please assist.

You must be joking…

If your comfortable wearing jeans then wear jeans and a nice but comfortable shirt.
Just don’t look sloppy, but more like a potentially interested student.
I would also probably wear some good shoes because you should be walking around a lot if your doing tours.
Take some really good notes!

Whatever you wear, wear a tie. You’ll look very important and people will show you the proper deferential treatment. For extra fun, walk into a class and watch the professor freak out a bit (maybe).

Comfortable shoes are a must. Most of the students are going to dress casually, but a lot of visitors like to dress just a tad better than the students. So, decent pants and a decent top would be a good bet. Try to look neat, but they aren’t going judge, really. Dressing up a lot would lead to a very amusing visit.

thanks everyone. i think i might wear a casual dress and some uggs
yea i am a FEMALE by the way
and recharge: yes. i AM serious. =(

A leather bondage mask, “White Power” tee, and crotchless panties.

nothing?
They will remember you for sure.
Maybe even for the rest of their lives.

Doesn’t matter. Or do you have an interview there also? In that case, you know, wear what you would wear to an interview.

In my experience: no shirt, no shoes, no acceptance.
