To stay on topic: I intend on wearing khakis and a button-down collared blouse to my revisit day. It’s within the dress code without being too “prickish”.

hahaha Lillium…
the rest of us were wayy off-topic xD

Well to formal school revisits I’ll wear a chino and a light sweater. For Milton I’ll wear a polo and jeans.

Karenasaurus-- That’s why I tried to reign it back a little bit.

I think it may have worked!

Hahha
I’m probably just gonna dress like I usually do to Milton :]

Yes it did Lillium xD
GOODDDJOBB

at andover i wore a polo and felt overdressed once i got to the school

i’m probably just going to wear a polo and khakis…

does anyone know what to wear to exeter? i know that I should stick to the dress code but when i see pictures of the girls there they’re wearing jeans and a hoodie.

usually on the website they have pictures of kids wearing stuff while they are hanging out
like on the SPS website,
they have a bunch of girls in sweatpants talking with eachother and stuff…
definitly NOT acceptable in the classroom hahha
I’ll be going with the dress code for my revisit (soooo excited!!)
probably a skirt and a shirt
or if its a little chilly,
nice cords and a sweater
:)

Yeah. I keep going back and forth for my revisit wear. I mean, Berkshire is a formal school-- But at my visit girls were wearing leggings, sweaters, and Uggs. Deffinitly not formal. I’m not sure what I’m going to wear. Either khakis and a dress blouse, like I mentioned, or a chord skirt and sweater.

Hmm… It’s difficult.

Stay away from jeans. Follow the dress code.

At the beginning of this thread someone mentioned it being Spring. Although the calendar says Spring, New England often doesn’t feel like Spring at this time of year so if you are coming from outside the area, check the weather and dress accordingly. The 10 day forecast for MA/NH right now is highs in the 45-50 degree range and lows in the 30-35 degree range.

Enjoy the revisits! They are a lot of fun!

if you’re unsure about whether it is more formal or informal, go formal. it’s always better to be overdressed than underdressed.

And if your overdressed you can just say you came from a funeral, ;). just kidding.

lol. 10char

I’m going to wear a skirt and polo to Hotchkiss and cords and a polo to Milton. I really want to wear my jeans to Milton but I’d rather play it safe and be a little over dresses than be the only one in jeans. I’m wearing flats to both.

If the school has a dress code you obviously have to go by that but if they dont why wont you just wear whats most comfortable? I mean they’re not gonna take away your acceptance because your wearing jeans. Even if most people aren’t everyone’s gonna forget about it anyway (unless your literally the only one which won’t happen). You should really just wear formal clothing then if you go in and see everyone is wearing jeans and stuff then just go change into something comfortable.

waiitt ,
So for Milton, would wearing jeans be a bad idea ?

not at all! wear a slightly nicer version of what you’d wear to school. so maybe jeans and a nice shirt or something

lol i wear a uniform to school so I’m all new to this :S
haha
would skinny jeans, a nice black polo and flats be alright ?

I’m sticking with shirt, tie, and formal pants. I’ll bring along some casual clothes too.
