What to wear to info session?

I'm going to the Pton info session in Boston area on Sunday, and I'm wondering what the dress code is (if there is one lol). I don't want to dress up per say, but I don't want to look underdressed. I think I'm just going to go with an intermediate between dressy and casual but I'm wondering what people have worn to those things in the past.

Also...is anyone else going? I asked a while back but no one responded.

-JTC

Wear comfy clothes. Info sessions are no big deal.

Wear a sweatshirt cuz it's gonna be coooooold :p

I went to my first few info sessions this past weekend. I didn't know what to expect, so I wore a knee-length black skirt, yellow (day 1) or red (day 2) cabled sweater, and black ballet flats. When I got there most of the other prospies wore jeans and hoodies, and at Swarthmore I was mistaken for a tour guide because one mom thought I looked "official"!

So, um, yeah ... don't overdress.

No one cares what you wear to an information session.

seriously, unless the reps there are going to be reading your application...if they'd even remember who you were in the first place....it doesnt matter at all - i dont think i realized how uptight and pathetic some of the people in this forum really were until now

what to wear to an information session?........
think about that question for a minute....and ask yourself what reasonable, self-respecting human being worries about that more than say...what they adcoms will actually be evaluating like ......idk... your application?

just don't look like you're homeless

i went in a polo and jeans to DC sessions.

i was the first one to get there, so I had a chat with the rep from there. She is also going to be the one reading my application.

i would say dress casually. Here we had a wide range....from really casual to really formal.

just wear whatcver will be comfortable to walk in. unless your having an interview the same day,, there's no need to stress out about what your wearing.

ok thanks everyone...I guess I'll just dress comfortably.

I hope I don't sound too "uptight and pathetic" for you glorybear, but I didn't come out of the womb knowing exactly what to expect for every new situation in my life, like you apparently did. I know that it won't have any impact on my admissions (I'm only a junior anyway)...I just don't want to walk in and be embarrassed.
