I'm going to UT. I'm a classy girl, but not a prude.

I got invited to a Playboy themed party. There must be something for me to wear besides lacy lingerie and bunny ears, which is what I hear a lot of girls go in haha. I'm down with wearing tight or short clothing, but for what to wear....I'm totally lost. o.o

^I agree. Especially being a freshman in the fall, you don’t really want to stand out yet. If you don’t wear what everyone else is wearing, you run the risk of looking like a prude.

Maybe ask the girl/guy that invited you what to wear.

I wore nice black dress pants, heels, and a bustier to the party I went to. No ears - didn’t have any.

I don’t dig the whole underwear/bra thing. Whats left to the imagination?

I got my fair share of attention that night so I assume I looked alright. Not all the girls wore just lingerie either. A bustier & leggings/stocking type things or bustier & dress shorts are some more options.

Anyway, not all girls are meant to be prancing around in a bra and panties. They look a lot more stupid than the girls that dress to flatter themselves. Flattering your body type, and being comfortable/not self-conscious should be first and foremost. Also if there will be drinking and you don’t want to come off as completely easy, then make sure you won’t “fall” out of of whatever you’re in.

I agree with the apple and asparagus analogy. If you are concerned about finding an outfit that suits the theme while still honoring your principles (/modesty/whatever it is), I would suggest skipping this party. There will be others.

I understand what you are saying, but I find a girl more attractive wearing a conservative outfit than wearing only bra and panties or wearing an outfit with excessive cleavage or a skirt where everything is showing.

No, I’m a sophomore. But I’m really good friends with a lot of the AEPi people. It’s going to be a good party. This is the first one in their new house, which is worlds better than their old house. They’re one of my favorite fraternities for parties.

I’ve actually met three or four other people from the CollegeConfidential forums at various UT parties, it’s kinda neat to put a face to the forum name. I’m going to have to find you at some point that night, lol. (Not trying to be creepy though lol)

most guys probably dont, especially for a playboy themed party. the theme is basically an excuse for girls to wear barely any clothes (like many theme parties seem to be). maybe clothing conservative for this kind of party would be a alright idea, but that outfit still wouldnt be conservative

You might be surprised, but a lot of guys don’t like girls who dress slutty. Guys mgiht checks out those girls, but they are not the girls that guys to have relaitonships with.
