What to write in a Transfer essay

I would like to transfer into Cornell's ILR School, and I have had no problem filling out their supplement. However, while filling out the common app I continue to struggle with the question regarding why I would like to transfer. To be honest, I HATE MY SCHOOL...
Now without being quite as up front about it, are there any suggestions on how to portray this feeling of resentment? Or should I just speak about the academics? and should I directly hint towards the ILR school in this essay? or should I be broad in my answer?

Thanks in advance

ps. I was accepted as a GT after high school, but had personal problems and did not accept it...could that possibly hurt or help?

nothing? no one has any tips?

put a positive twist on your feelings. Research Cornell and discuss how you seek MORE challenge than you are currently getting. That they would be a better fit for your academic needs, blah blah blah. It’s usually not a good idea to dog the school you are in.
