What to Write in Position/Leadership Field on CommonApp

I am a home-schooled student, and most of my activities that I am planning to list on the Common Application are not typically described by positions and leadership roles. You can find my list of extra-curriculars on my chance thread (<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1652569-chances-and-college-list.html#latest">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1652569-chances-and-college-list.html#latest</a>), but I'm not sure how to fill the Position/Leadership line for some of my activities.

For example, I would like to list "The Odin Project" (<a href="http://www.theodinproject.com">http://www.theodinproject.com</a>), "Competitive Programming" (USACO, TopCoder, and Project Euler), and "Latin ECs" (e.g. NLE, NJCL, etc.) as three separate extracurriculars. What should I write in Position/Leadership for activities such as these? "The Odin Project Student"? "Web Developer"? "Competitive Programmer"? "Latin Aficionado"?

If you aren’t interacting with other people in your extra-circulars then they aren’t leadership positions.

@karolusmagnus: I didn’t say they were, but that seems to be the primary field under every extracurricular activity on the Common App.

If you are having trouble explaining in the boxes on the EC section of the Common App, use the Additional Information section. Put “See additional info” in the EC description, then have a header for that EC in your Add’l Info section and bullet out the key information. Be concise (no paragraphs, use bullets).

Assuming you are not filling out a Common App now, next year’s is not released until something like August. But I understand if you are trying to figure out ahead of time where things go.
