What trait(s) does Harvard like?

<p>Yeah, I was going to change it to adversity, but I wasn’t able to edit my post and I figured that futility would get the point across just as effectively. Guess not :X. </p>

<p>Anyway, to stay on topic. People who do overcome immense amounts of adversity are the most likely to get into Harvard. I mean everyone who tries to go to Harvard competitively already could be considered an “overachiever” or “passionate” so to say just be passionate is kind of a waste.</p>

<p>You’d be surprised …</p>

<p>Being able to be articulate and intelligent about the things that you’re passionate about is more rare than you might expect.</p>

<p>Virtually anything that potentially adds big money to its multibillion dollar hoard of endowment ^^</p>

<p>^ Weirdly enough, this is quite true. They essentially want the future leaders of the financial and political world.</p>
