What type of calculator is permited on SAT?

TI’s, casios, any graphing calculator…
However the calculators cannot have a keyboard.

I got confused. Is TI-Nspire allowed?
It both is a TI and has a keyboard.

^ Calculators with QWERTY keyboards are not allowed.

Sounds funny, but there was an “sat-allowed” sign on the package when I bought it))

well, at least that’s what I heard.
Wait a few minutes and I’ll get you a link of acceptable calculators. :)

I can’t believe a package could lie to me.
Anyway, I’ll be taking the SAT in Ukraine, I hope the proctor’s not going to be that meticulous there.

^ If I were you, I would not risk taking an N-spire. But if you really can’t help it, then how about you bring the package with the calculator and show that to your proctor?

Darn. I am mistaken. Please see below link for the image of TI N-spire.

This calculator is nothing like a QWERTY keyboard calculator! This is fine!

I was thinking more like this for an unacceptable calculator:

In any case, I apologize for misinformation. I stand corrected.

This is how it was sold: http://www.copcoinc.com/uploads/ti-nspire-2-1.jpg
The 1st picture in your post above shows, that the keypad is changeable, but if you do change it, you loose all the npire’s benefits comparing to ti-84.

^Anyhow, N-spire is acceptable, even if you do change it into an alternate keypad; N-spire does not seem to support an alternate QWERTY keypad.

Oh, thanks!)
The packages do not yet lie, the world is still a safe place to live ;)

^Yes, they didn’t, and I will take note that N-spire is allowed for future reference; again I apologize for some confusion in the beginning of the post.
