What type of chances do I have?

Hey guys,

I know you're all going to love me for this. I appreciate all the feedback!

Schools:

Georgetown
Cornell
Carnegie Mellon
Harvard???
Columbia
Brown

That's about everything. Many thanks for evaluating anything and everything. Your input is very appreciated.

You obviously have at least an O.K. chance at all these places. Brandeis should be an easy in. Harvard is the only really big question mark, but it always is. Any Ivy League school is at least somewhat a question mark. Good luck.

Thanks for the quick response, tore.
I realize my stats are around where I need them for a few of the schools, and a bit below where many applicants have them for some of those schools.

My biggest question is one that I am not sure you guys will be able to answer:
How would you rate my EC's? Are they strong, normal, or not so good? How much of a distinguished pianist do I have to be in order to use it to my advantage. I'm not really distinguished, but I have played at a few minor concerts recently--nothing big or more than fifty people. Is playing the piano just good for by all-round development/being renaissance man, or will it help me more than that?

Same thing with the website? Is that even something I should put on the application? It's a PDA gaming website -- so it deals with Palm/Pocket PC games. By the way, I'm a geek. Keep smiling :).

normal EC's

Sure, mention the website, people mention stuff like that.

bump bump bump it up
