what type of engineering??

how do you know that what kind of engineeirng you want to pursue in the future? I mean i know i want to major in one of these-mechanical/aerospace/computer engineering but cant really decide between these 3.
I am currently a senior in texas public school and due to finacial reasons i have to attend cc for one year. all i need is a 3.0 gpa during my first year at community college and i will be automatically accepted by Texas A&M engineering program. But the thing is that for that admission i have to declare a specific major in engineering. i dont think that my first year at cc will help me decide what engineering field i want to pursue. any advice!!!

anybody....

This question has came up a million times, do a search.

do some personal research...everyone has different reasons for wanting to do specific programs, so no one can tell you which one you should/shouldn't do...look into the type of jobs you can enter, the types of classes you'll take, the strength of the program at your school, ect...also, search the engineering board for this question to get some advice from others

also, if you're only a senior, your choice will likely change atleast once from now until when you have to declare (typically end of soph. year, but you can change into your fourth semester generally, except from say chemE to aeroE)

thanks. i have been doing research. it seems like mech/aerospace consist of a lot of physics while computer engineering consists of a lot of math.
