What type of GPA do UCs look at?

<p>Do they look at weighted or unweighted? 9-12 GPA or 10-12 GPA?</p>

<p>The UC GPA is weighted up to eight semesters of UC approved honors, AP, and IB classes. Only grades earned in sophmore and junior year will be counted. You can ask your high school adviser to print the list of UC approved courses at your school, or you can pull the information up from on the UC website.<br>

<p>UC GPA calculation is similar to CSU GPA calculation as described here:

UC differs from CSU in not including 12th grade course grades that are sometimes available.</p>
