What type of high school do you wish you went to?

I, personally, think it would be fun to go to an East Coast boarding school with cutthroat competition. Don't ask me why =)

I’m kind of with you on that, but I’d rather go to an arts school. :D

@ OP, Phillips Academy sounds a lot like your description
I want to go to a high school where I’m not one of the four Asians out of 1000 kids!

The one I went to.

Fame! I want to live forever…

Too bad I have zero talent in the performing arts.

One with less bubbly high school drama and gossip, more focused on training people for success.

Pinkstarcloud, just come to San Francisco…that pretty much describes Lowell High School…it’s majority Asian…

Ahh I wish! I’m from Massachusetts so that’d be tough to travel across the country even though my dad lives there. LOL sad thing is that I live like 5 minutes away from LHS.

The LHS in MA is slightly different, although it has the same Asian population.

A good one.

Unlike the one I currently attend.

Yeah LHS here is overpopulated with Cambodians, Laos, Thai, the southeast Asians etc.
There’s another one in CA?

A coed school, lol.

The elitist frat boy / bicker club feeling is getting old. And I’m sick of only meeting people through my friends and their friends. You can’t bump into a cute new girl you’ve never met before and fall in love in a fleeting moment of romantic realization at an all-boys school.

After a girl in my school transferred to Andover Academy and another girl, who I had gone to school with since the age of 3, left her twin sister for The Hotchkiss School, I begged my parents to let me go to boarding school. But now, I think I’m pretty happy with the school I go to. Most boarding schools and even private schools in general are much less diverse than my school and very few of them offer a better education. Even if they have the racial diversity my school does, almost none of them have the socioeconomic diversity.

An inner-city school.

Then I’d be more ghetto. :)

CaliforniaDancer, you went to Lowell? I know a couple people from there…

as for the OP’s question: the one I went to. It’s not ideal, but I had an ok time through it and it’s helped shape me the way I am now / get me where I am now.

Probably some kind of prep school like Philips Exerter. Or maybe a magnet school. ^^ Trust me, inner city schools aren’t ideal.

A school that actually offered AP classes.

A school with cuter girls.

One where all the people are smart, nice, and hot.

Is that to much to ask God!?!?!

justintsn - Rule of thumb:

3 S = Smart, Sexy, and Single. People are never more than 2.
