What type of high school do you wish you went to?

Right now I go to a super competitive public school, I wish I went to an East Coast boarding school. I dont know why, it would just be so different.

not university high school in irvine …
intense competition but awesome teachers and people

Hogwarts!!! Still waiting for my acceptance letter, lol.

But other than that, I would say some sort of prep/private school on the East coast (one that looks like a castle and has towers and butresses). Ideally, a school where the AP test pass rates are a 100%, and the average score is a 5, and somewhere where they teach Latin, and have prefects. Oh and it would be cool if they offered horseback riding, archery, and fencing as sports (I’ve always wanted to try those). I want a school where the teachers are actually good, and they are focused on helping you get into college.

Public schools are lame.

I love my school : all-boys college prep. Because theirs no girls you don’t have to constrain yourself all the time and impress girls. You can just talk about sports or crapping in the bathroom or more intellectual like how Oedipus could possibly do his mother if she was an old cougar. Also, the laid back atmosphere really helps you get through the intense college prep work and everyone does the work .

I’m fine with what I go to now. Not cutthroat, but competitive among top ten. Not a ranked school in any top 500 high school in the U.S., much less top 100. But still enough to learn and be challenged. Diverse. Could be more liberal, but whatever.

A gifted, more-liberal school would have much more fun.

I’m actually pretty happy with my school. Maybe one with more focus on science/technology/engineering, that kind of good stuff, would be nice.

My school is TINY. I love it but i wish it was slightly larger.

Edit: The population I mean.

i would like one with 4-day schoolweeks

I don’t know, I like my school right now. Maybe one with a few more AP classes and where the guidance counselors don’t underestimate you, like when you want to self study an AP…Also, you should come to Quincy Pinkstarcloud, the high schools are pretty asian, at least a 1/3, lol

A Math/Science oriented school with an upscale science lab where students are free to research and conduct their own labs.

I love my school

all boys college prep with awesome campus and great teachers (most have PHd’s) and just a great atmoshere… really I couldn’t think of a better school…)

An east coast boarding school (I go to a large public school where the top people are brilliant but that’s about it).
