I've taken courses at a nearby community college this summer, and my professor who taught my math course agreed to write me a letter of recommendation. The problem is, I have no idea what type of recommender he would be classified as. Would he be a "teacher", or does that only apply to in-school teachers? If he's an other recommender, would he be classified as "Other"?

College prefer LORs from your high school teachers who had you in their class for a full school year, not a six week cc math course.
Get LORs from teachers your junior year math, science, English courses.
