What type of schools would I be likely to get into?

I am a Jr. in high school and I was wondering about what chance people think I have at some colleges. I am looking to major in engineering or business.

My GPA up to my Jr. year is a 3.2. I slacked off a lot in my Fr. year...
Freshman - 2.7
Sophomore - 3.3
Junior - 3.6

SAT haven't gotten it back yet but based on my practice test results it will be around 2050.
ACT 31

Extracurriculars - Football 2 years (Fr/So)
Copy/Sports Editor for annual award winning student newspaper
I have had a steady job since SO year. About 18 hours a week during the school year and around 30 a week during the summer. I was promoted to a shift leader (manager) in 4 months. It's a smoothie store.
I also do Martial Arts focusing on Shotokan Karate.

Classes: (I will only include core classes)
Fr. Spanish 2A, Geometry A, Western Civ Honors, Bio A, English 1A
So. Spanish 3A, Algebra 2A, U.S. Government A, Chemistry A, English 2A
Jr. Spanish 4A, Pre-Calc A, A.P. Modern European History, Physics A, (Research & Lit., Contemp. American Lit., Beg. Journalism) <- Semester courses
Sr. (Have not taken yet) Spanish 5A, Calculus Honors, A.P. Economics, (East Asian Studies, U.S. Gov.) <- Semester courses, A.P. Physics B, Advanced Journalism, (Reading and Writing Fiction, British Lit.) <- Semester courses

I go to a high school in CT that was rated the #1 public high school in the state

Schools I am looking at are Michigan, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Purdue, UCONN, Syracuse, etc.. Also if you know of schools similar to the ones I listed then please let me know.

Thanks for the help

Your scores are good, but your GPA will really hurt you. I would consider those schools to be match/reaches. Try to find more safeties.

GPA wise you are almost exactly like me. Bad freshmen year GPA with similar sophomore and junior year GPA’s. You have two big visible problems. They both have to deal with supplementing the average GPA.
One is that you lack EC’s. Can’t really do much about it now but you might want to try and maybe become president or something of your class next year or maybe student council at your school.
The next problem is your rigor. I mean this specifically with math. I know for most engineering programs they will want you to have a high rigor in both math and science. Science wise I guess your are fine although it would have been good to have more then one AP science course. Its math where you are in trouble. You are on a pretty standard math course for most schools and a lot of people applying to the kind of schools on your list will be ahead of you. Also I’m kind of confused on your senior year. Why are you not taking AP Calculus AB/BC? Is it not available at your school?
Anyway to fix this you need to take more AP’s if they are available. If not look into maybe doing independent study’s where you are self studying AP courses and then explain that in your application.
I guess your school difficulty will help but honestly, it seems that at least half the people on this forum go to a a top (input number here) school. Its going to be hard to get into a lot of those schools especially in engineering where it seems a lot of top students apply to. You have a decent chance though I guess.
