So, club day for my school is coming around the corner and I was wondering what type of club I should join/start. I was the president of the ping pong club last year, heh heh, but I doubt that will help my cause.

Book club?

do what you LOVE, not what will look “good”

Rugby is really the best club to join at any school. Best guys around, work out every day, kick some ass, have an awesome drink-up, sing songs, great networking.

Joining clubs that “look good” is pretty fail.

No one cares about college clubs. It’s not high school anymore where kids did 7-10 different activities to impress the admissions committee.

Do what you enjoy and what interests you.

If you’re doing pre-med or pre-law, or any other preprofession, it may be a good idea to at least join the pre-graduate school club (of whatever area you’re interested in) to get tips and such. However, just do what you love. Join a religious group, cultural group, or yes, stick with ping pong! If you’re applying to grad school, it’s not really the clubs that you’ll be putting on your resume - it’s going to be your internships, volunteer work, and work dedicated to the area you’re applying for in your career.
