What types of expenses should I expect?

I'm a sophomore in high school, and lately college has been weighing heavily on my mind. I do not come from a financially stable family but I have good grades and really want to go to LSU when I graduate. I was just wondering what expenses i should be preparing for..
I know things like tuition, books, meal plans, etc. But a list would be helpful. And what about some scholarships I could apply for? My school is really small, with a total of around 350 students, but what types of extracurricular look good on an application? I'm not sporty. An I've been looking around and Joan Miller Hall has caught my eye. Is that a good dorm? I'm absolutely going to stay on campus. I know it's a lot could someone please help??

If you want to go to LSU, then the worthwhile scholarships are the ones that LSU offers. One time small scholarships from private entities aren’t going to pay for college. For instance, winning a one-time $1000 scholarship from the local Rotary club isn’t going to help you for your soph, jr, senior years. They will help a bit for frosh year, but they won’t really get you to your goal of paying for college.

Go to LSU’s website to see what stats are needed for their scholarships.

go here to find the LSU link

As for expenses…

tuition
university fees
course fees
room
board
flex dollars
parking decal
transportation to and from home to school
personal expenses…toiletries and “day to day” pocket money expenses.

health insurance?
