for hobbies.. what would be some stuff that would impress colleges for hobbies and special interest? like i really don't have any hobbies

Stamp-collecting.

skydiving, swimming with sharks

I dare you to put CC.

Don't try to impress (well, do, but don't put stuff down that isn't "you"). Just put down whatever you do, everyone has hobbies. "Computer" for example. Or "reading".

Travelling! Because I do love it and go as often as possible. I really have taken advantage of my school's MUN program... I've been on 4 trips with them.

My son was excepted ED II at his first choice. He inclued this info. in a few essays - jobs such as playing an elf at Hershry Park, PA - different for an athlete - he knits, plays ping-pong - started a club, etc. These were minor parts of his app. Took piano lessons forever but not a musician - guitar and piano relaxes him. Admissions don't really care about this stuff - just makes you a little more unique - they care about what you have done with your time - consistently - outside of grades, tests. Zero in on the big things but maybe add other stuff to an addendum/resume - as my son did. Not lots of space on the common app. to distinguish you. Good luck!

If your an uber-1337 gamer like me, make sure you put that down on your app too. The ivies wont wanna take any n00bz.

hahahahaha

o0CrazyGlue0o i can so relate to you. You almost made me cry, n00bz shouldn't be allowed in, they get pawned.
