I got a letter from UCI that said if I applied I would be guaranteed admissions(with some exceptions like if I pick an impacted major), because I’m ELC. What other schools did this, whats schools did you get?
<p>One of son's friends got into UCR as ELC. The friend wanted UCSD but didn't get in. Is very happy at UCR. Friends not ELC got into UCSD. I think their SATs were higher and they had more EC's-but scores, etc are second hand information to me.</p>

<p>Well I'm not planning to apply to UCI, but I guess i was just asking to see if any of the other UC's were sending letters to ELC students that they were guaranteed admissions if they were to apply to their campus. Or if other UC's had been sending letters.</p>

<p>Am I the only one who got this? I'm s tarting to think I was. Because from my school no one has gotten one but me. I'm surprised because I know that the other top 4 percent at my school have better grades and take harder classes, and I'm the only one who got that letter saying that if I apply to UCI this fall I'll be guaranteeed admissions.</p>
